What Are You Doing To Draw Your Dream Life To You?

One of my favorite quotes is by the Jesuit priest and geologist, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin:

‘What would you do, if you knew you couldn’t fail?’

I like the directness of the quote.  It really cuts to the chase, doesn’t it?

If you’re uncertain what you want to achieve, do or try, just ask yourself that one simple question.  Think of it as a 10-word litmus test for your Life.

‘What would you do, if you knew you couldn’t fail?’

Taking action

Once you’ve chosen the answer that makes your heart sing, the real work begins…you’ve got to set things in motion.

After deciding what your literal soul-purpose (as opposed to sole-purpose) is in Life, you need to make it happen.  You have an obligation to bring it into fruition.  You owe it to yourself to give birth to your dream.

If you can’t give yourself permission to follow your dreams, then do it for the rest of us.

Don’t deny me your brilliance as a singer, an independent business owner or a computer ‘thinga-majig’ inventor just because you’re afraid or feel unworthy.

Those excuses just won’t fly with me.

Read my lips, ‘If you’re not actively involved in getting what you want, you don’t really want it.’

Mull that over for a minute or two.

If you really want it, you’ll step through your fears and into your courageous, confident self to make it happen.  You’ll find the strength within you to take the first step.

Staying the course

The most difficult part of this process is staying true to yourself and honoring your dream.

The Universe wants to make your wishes and dreams come true.  Nothing makes the power and energy of the Universe happier than seeing someone fulfill their heart’s desire.

But, it expects a little input and effort from you too, so the Universe knows you’re committed to your dream.

If you say, ‘I’d love to learn a foreign language, so I can travel and be a bi-lingual tour guide.’, then you darn well-better be taking classes to learn the language.

What’s that?  You don’t have the money for classes?  Then punt.  Go to Plan B.

There’s always a Plan B, and a Plan C and so on and so on…

You can borrow CD’s and participate in free conversational language sessions at your local library.

What if your dream is to lose 75 pounds, so you can become a fitness instructor?

Your dream is to become an inspiration to clients, to set their excuses aside and finally get fit.  With the proper training you know you can motivate future clients, if only you weren’t overweight.

The hardest part about this dream is putting on your gym shoes so you can go for a walk.  You’ve got to take the first steps…

Taking baby steps

Making your dream come true, living your dream Life really doesn’t take much on your part.

Sure, it takes a vision.  You have to be clear about what you want.

It takes some courage to get started.

And it takes action.

It doesn’t have to be any big, grand expensive action, because it’s all cumulative.

All your efforts add up.  They all count.  After all, ‘Where attention goes, energy flows!’

How badly do you want your dream?

Go back to Teilhard de Chardin’s question and ask yourself:

‘What would you do, if you knew you couldn’t fail?’

Then take action.

Make a plan, get off the couch and start taking baby steps towards your dream.

No one else is going to do this for you.

No one else can do this for you.

It’s your vision.

This is your reality.

Isn’t it time to get this party started?

It’s time for you to finally make this happen.

Besides…we’re all waiting for you to blow us away with your brilliance.

Please don’t keep us waiting any longer…please?
